It isn’t easy to answer the question “What’s new in ePigeon Instant Messaging 5?”. The simplest answer would be to say “everything”. This is the most radically changed version since the program’s first outing. Even the smallest features have been improved, and the program contains a number of new additions – some of which had been requested by a lot of our users. We have listened to our users, and most of their requests have been incorporated into this new version.
To manage this, we had to sacrifice compatibility with previous versions. We had to develop a new exchange protocol between clients and the server, thereby clearing the way to adding new features in the future. With this new protocol, it will be much easier to include new requests for any function you may need.
