The scrolling banner has been improved in order to display information regarding the origin of the message, along with a number of shortcut buttons for certain functions such as “Reply to sender”.
The message acknowledgement button is activated as soon as the whole message has been displayed on the screen, and not and the end of a single message scroll, as was the case in previous versions.
However, it is still possible to display the banner without the extra information, as it was displaying in previous versions by simply disabling the "Expanded banner" policy. The contextual menu will remain accessible.
